MEET THE FOUNDERS
Hey People!! Tobi and Prisca Bakare here!
Thank you for taking an interest in FABA Drama. We have such great things in store. We have over 20 years experience in the industry and want to share that with our community. In case your thinking, which you're probably not; we are very much married and share 4 beautiful children. We moved to Medway in 2020 and have grown a deep love for the community and all it brings. We'd love to explore that more through FABA drama.
We hope you can journey with us
Love

Our Creative Vision
At FABA Drama, every session is a doorway into discovery!! A space where young minds leap into character, and creativity becomes second nature. We believe drama isn’t just about performing, it’s about growing into confident communicators, imaginative thinkers, and expressive individuals who can take on life with purpose.
We celebrate the quirks, dreams, and voices that make each student unique with classes led by professional actors delivering skills in a way that sparks joy and passion. We're big on risk-taking. Mistakes become magic here. We encourage bold choices and fearless expression, whilst building community with our small group sizes meaning deeper connections and lifelong friendships forged under stage lights.

Inspire
With all our coaches working as industry professionals, our actors are inspired to think big and not just that, believe they can achieve it
Play
To act is to play! We want to keep our classes fun as that is the best platform for great acting.
Guidance
Our dedicated coaches focus on nurturing each child's individual strengths and abilities, ensuring they reach their full potential.
AGE GROUPS
7-11 YEAR OLDS
12-15 YEAR OLDS
16-18 YEAR OLDS

This group have a vast imagination and we want to work with that. We will ease them into the fundamentals of acting with games, improvisation, scripted text and responsiveness exercises to ground their performance in truth.

This group of actors have a great sense of play and are changing constantly with age. We will prioritise that sense of play as "to act is to play". Alongside this, we will look at developing their technique. That's vocal quality, character expression, text work, sensory work and more.

We want to nurture this group into mature actors. Students are guided in bringing emotional truth and depth to scene work, learning how to shape and mould multidimensional characters with technique. We'll also have industry based sessions with guests and more.
